Stride Metronome

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These terms apply to the Stride Metronome app and to this website, both provided by Vannin Technology Consulting Inc. ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app, or using this website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use them.

What the app is

Stride Metronome is a running aid. It plays a steady tick at a cadence you choose, times run and walk intervals with spoken cues, and records the time, distance and route of your sessions on your phone. It is a tool for your own training. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

Your health and safety

Running and walking carry risks, and you take part at your own risk. Before starting or changing an exercise program, speak with a doctor, especially if you are recovering from an injury, are new to running, or have a medical condition. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell.

Stay aware of your surroundings. Spoken cues and the metronome are played through your headphones or speaker, and headphones can make it harder to hear traffic and other people. Follow local laws on headphone use, and do not rely on the app to warn you of hazards.

Accuracy

Distance, pace and the route map come from your phone's GPS, which can be inaccurate, especially under trees, between tall buildings, and in the first moments after starting. Spoken cues and the metronome depend on your phone's audio system and any connected headphones, which the app does not control. We do not guarantee that any measurement or cue is accurate or on time, and the app should not be relied on where accuracy matters.
